Kono Michi
Barbès, Brooklyn, at 7:00 pm

Kono Michi (Japanese for “This path”) is the singing/song-writing alter-ego of accomplished violinist Michi Wiancko, a CAG Competition winner and New Music/New Places Fellow. Described by UK's Planet Sound Reviews as “a Bjork-like brooding wonderland,” Kono Michi's haunting collection of beautiful dark love songs incorporates unique orchestration that draws upon her classical background and creates a landscape in which stringed instruments are interwoven with voice and percussion.

Barbès Classical. Once a month, Barbès and the Concert Artist Guild present a classical music concert featuring some of the best new talent in the classical world.
